  • Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR)

    EMDR helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or emotionally disturbing. It does this by using bilateral stimulation—typically side-to-side eye movements, sounds, or taps—while the client recalls a distressing memory in a safe, guided way.
